Live-Action Adaptation of Web Novel, Webtoon Men of the Harem Confirmed
Korean entertainment media outlet OSEN exclusively reported on May 12 that Suzy, actress and former member of K-pop girl group Miss A, is currently reviewing an offer to star as the lead in an upcoming live-action adaptation of Men of the Harem.Based on the web novel by author Alphatart, who wrote The Remarried Empress, Men of the Harem is a palace romance fantasy set in the Tarim Empire, where Empress Latil gathers male consorts to secure her throne and navigate the complex power dynamics of the imperial court.The web novel, serialized from March 2020 to June 2023, has amassed over 21.4 million downloads and was also adapted into a webtoon. Fans can read the web novel in English on Yonder and webtoon on WEBTOON.
