51/100I had a strong dislike for this season, maybe newcomers may find it enjoyable, but fans of 1st season will despite it.Continue on AniListThe first season provided me with a wonderful viewing experience, and when it reached its conclusion, I felt satisfied with the resolution of the story.
Initially, I held optimistic expectations for a subsequent season.
After watching the first episode, I had a glimmer of hope that the entire season wouldn't be as terrible as it seemed at the beginning.
The answer is YES it can. Upon my initial viewing, my immediate reaction was, "I expected individuals to mature and develop, not regress!". In the first season, the BladeBreakers looked mature but then they went all Chibi.
I watched the entire season with the hope of the show getting better and reminiscent of its past glory. However, it turned out to be extremely terrible and forgettable. The only thing I remember is feeling annoyed with the characters, which rarely happens.
Beyblade V-Force (Bakuten Shoot Beyblade 2002) is a tragic failure at a series.
STORY :
- Story is not a strong point Beyblade Series. But, this is the worst of it. You'll never know where you're at in the story until the last 3 eps and other than that it offers nothing new or exciting.
ART :
- I personally prefer the traditional style of Beyblade. I'm confused about why they decided to go with a chibi design for the characters.
- In the first season, the character's faces actually varied. But when this new style came in, they all had the similar kind of face.
- Last season the characters looked around 13-14. They look like 11 years old here.
- The only improvement from the last season, that I recall are the CG Blades as look nice.
SOUND :
- Same as previous season.
- I have to express that the music doesn't captivate me. It can even become bothersome at times, as the same songs are repetitively used in various battles.
- The soundtrack seems lacking in depth and fails to make a significant impact on the overall show.
CHARACTERS :
- The aspect that bothered me the most about this season was the portrayal of the characters.
- To clarify, I believe that Beyblade has an exceptional group of main characters in the anime, particularly the core 5-6 characters whom I adore. However, I find the season 2 exclusive characters poorly designed, lacking originality, and quite bothersome.
- Some characters didn't even have a role in the series, just ended up being cheerleaders.
- It will be challenging to develop an interest in them or stay engaged with their stories.
ENJOYEMENT :
- In a single word: pitiful. This season is a mere reflection of its past greatness. When compared to next season (G-Rev) and the initial season, it stands out as noticeably inferior.
I didn't enjoy this season. People who haven't seen the first season might like it, but fans of the original will despite it.
