It's Anime YouTube Channel Streams High School Kimengumi, My Little Monster Anime
REMOW announced on Saturday that it is releasing the High School! Kimengumi anime and the My Little Monster anime with English subtitles in the U.S. and Canada on the It's Anime YouTube channel. This will mark the first release of the High School! Kimengumi anime in English. REMOW stated High School! Kimengumi is "coming soon," but has not yet launched the anime as of press time.The first episode of My Little Monster debuted on Saturday, and the playlist for the series is available here. New episodes will stream on Saturdays. High School! Kimengumi originally aired for 86 episodes between 1985 and 1987. Hiroshi Fukutomi directed the anime, and Hatsuki Tsuji and Hiroshi Kanazawa designed the characters. Shunsuke Kikuchi composed the music. The anime starred Issei Futamata, Kaneto Shiozawa, Miki Takahashi, Naoki Tatsuta, Naoko Matsui, Shigeru Chiba, and Tesshō Genda.The gag comedy anime centers on a group of five unique students who all befriend the cutest girl in school.The anime is based on Motoei Shinzawa's manga, which ran from 1982 to 1987 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.The My Little Monster (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) television anime series is based on Robico's manga of the same name. The anime premiered in 2012, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. NIS America licensed and released the anime on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2015. Sentai Filmworks then licensed the anime in 2021.Robico launched the manga in Dessert in 2008, and ended it in 2013. Kodansha Comics published the manga in English. The manga also inspired a live-action film adaptation that premiered in April 2018.REMOW started streaming the Kochikame anime with English subtitles in the U.S. and Canada on Friday on the It's Anime YouTube channel.
