86/100This short series was so wholesome and cute! Almost exactly like Fruits Basket!Continue on AniListBefore reading this manga, I hadn't really heard much about it.. I just remember seeing it in a few YouTube and TikTok videos. I was bored one day, and decided to checkout a bunch of different mangas from my library and I remembered seeing the name, so I checked it out, not knowing anything about it. I would say this was a great decision, not only is it really short, but I fell in love with it so fast. It was an easy read and the story was never slow at any point. This reminds me SO much of Fruits Basket, it's crazy. Even one of the main characters (Rin) is almost an exact clone of Kyo Sohma. If you enjoy(ed) Fruits Basket, I would 100000/10 recommend this short series! (It's only 4 volumes! <3)

Story: (9/10)
Starting off in the story, the story did get pretty straight to the point, I guess you could say. Some mangas tend to take a few chapters to really get into the actual moments of the story. With "That Wolf-Boy is Mine", it was different. Since it's only 4 volumes, it felt as if it got pretty straight to the point right away. Like I said before, the story is very similar to Fruits Basket. There is a group of boys who are half human and half animal. The main character, Komugi Kusunoki has a very similar experience as Tohru Honda! The story had a pretty basic romance plot, but personally I really enjoy these. The story really kept me wanting to read more and more. I remember I only had volumes 1 and 2 at first, so after reading them both in one sitting, I was so upset I had to wait for the next two! Always kept me wanting to read more!° ?? ♡ ?? ₒ ?? ♡ ?? °
Art: (9/10)
The art was amazing! I love the style so much. The author/artist did an outstanding job with the art, I could stare all day at just the pictures. It may seem a little similar to other mangas, so I wouldn't say it was the most "unique," but I still love it so much!° ?? ♡ ?? ₒ ?? ♡ ?? °
Characters: (8/10)
In "That Wolf-Boy is Mine," there were a few main characters. The main character being "Komugi Kusunoki." She is a sort of shy girl who doesn't like getting involved in much at school, due to past experiences she had at her old school. It all changes when she meets the group of popular boys. Everyone seems to obsess over them. Little did she know, that they aren't fully human. They have the power to transform into their personal animal. For example, the other main character, "Yū Ōgami," transforms into a wolf. (Hint: the name of the manga!) Like I already said twice, the characters also very much remind me of Fruits Basket characters. Especially, Rin. He looks almost exactly like Kyo in the anime, and has the exact same personality! Also, he even transforms into a cat! What were the odds. :) There are also a few other characters which are all different in their own way! In conclusion, the characters are very easy to fall in love with and I love each of their unique personalities.° ?? ♡ ?? ₒ ?? ♡ ?? °
Enjoyment: (10/10)
I loved this manga so much! I was always wanting to know what was going to happen next! If I was to of started reading while I had my hands on all of the volumes, I defiantly would have finishes the entire series in one sitting. Sadly, I only had the first two and read them in one sitting! I caught myself wanting to know what was going to happen next all week, while waiting for the last two volumes to come in at the library! I loved getting to see the characters and how the plot of the story went along. I enjoying this short manga so much and I would for sure recommend it, as it's very wholesome!° ?? ♡ ?? ₒ ?? ♡ ?? °
Verdict:
Personally, I would definitely recommend this manga to anyone who loves a cute, sweet, wholesome manga! I fell in love with the characters and watching how they grew throughout the story! It was so cute, anyone should read this! I wouldn't say there was too much "drama", as you could put it, though. There were little things that still had you wondering or at the edge of your seat, but it wasn't as action packed as some of the other mangas I have read. Otherwise, it was still very wholesome, and an amazing read!° ?? ♡ ?? ₒ ?? ♡ ?? °
Overall, I loved this manga so so much. I will definitely come back to it, whenever I find myself in the mood to re-read a wholesome romance! This manga would quickly come to my mind if someone was to ask for recommendations, for sure! I loved the characters and how the story was paced! It was a very easy read, but always had me hooked. :) I loved how similar it was to Fruits Basket, and how similar the characters were.
