Futas are just chicks with live strap-ons, it really isn't gay guysContinue on AniListI enjoyed Futabu as much as the next guy who loves futanari, however it felt mediocre like a Slice of Life anime you pick up casually during the season and forget about by the next season. It felt good but it felt like a throwaway hentai you fap to in the moment then cringe about throughout your life when you suddenly remember it. Futabu!! takes what was great about the original and adds in a more cohesive storyline while keeping up the quality in animation and sexual choreography to give us a followup that, unlike most sequels, surpasses the original.

Compared to the school life Slice of Life original, we get actual plot in the sequel which lets these character breathe a little more. Each plot line fits the absurd and hyperbolic style of the show as a whole, with silly tropes that allow the viewer not to take the show too seriously. Although not overly complex or even important storylines, I've given it a strong rating as it helped fill in the holes of the original as well as giant futa dicks can fill each other's pussies. Each scene felt a little earned with a precursor that helped us explain how we got into a situation where the hot spring was completely ruined with semen and I felt less 'attacked' as unlike Futabu! this did not throw sex scenes at us at random.

The art varies from person to person, but within the overtly grotesque and absurdist feel of Futabu, much like the story, the art fits in to this theme well. For a newbie vanilla handholding hentai viewer, this style of giant dicks, stomach bulging depictions and overflowing cum may put them off immediately. For the battle hardened veteran who's seen it all, Futabu will feel like an afternoon stroll in the park's flower gardens as there is no blood or gore here. Speaking of overflowing cum, we must acknowledge how much the art has captured audiences in the famous scene of vagina-to-mouth cum flow that has been spread around the internet for a while now. The ability to show these admittedly gross scenes in a more lighthearted and consumable way speaks volumes of the artistic choices made in this show.

Overall the show has some really good sound design especially for the weirder scenes but overall there was nothing special, then I reached the end of the episode. As I've expressed many times, it just shows the viewer something different when a hentai goes through the trouble to include an OP or ED, and in Futabu's case it was a pleasant way to finish off an episode and wind the viewer down so massive props for that.

The characters overall were not that different and didn't really venture out of their tropes. Rarely did we get scenes that did not include the characters being naked, however in the sex scenes there was a good deal of actions and dialogue that embodied each character's traits making them feel more natural rather than having wild character shifts. We see how the more timid characters can slowly change within certain scenes and become more dominant that constantly had me locked in watching the power struggle and how it shifted throughout each scene. At the end of the day, Futabu gave us some strong scenes that incorporated it's characters well but we didn't see much change in these girls which was not much of a non-factor as I did not get attached to the characters.
Futabu is one of hardest to defend shows as many say chicks with dicks are gay but that's not true, it's just a live strap-on. Within the realm of futa hentai, Futabu is definitely one of the most mentioned and rightly so as it plays strongly to the 'futas are always horny' trope and rolls with it throughout the show. Futabu!! is a great sequel that will not let fans of the first one down, working with the original formula well and adding improvements that keep the core essence of Futabu. Due to the two plotlines being different, I would recommend a single fap for each episode of Futabu!!

the masterpiece named futabu!!Continue on AniListWell... even though its story is not as complex as the first season's, it is still a pretty good follow-up to one of the best anime I have ever seen.
Sure, some plot-twists are far-fetched and this whole season felt a bit over the top, but most people who criticize this "sequel" forget that this season is more of a side story, rather than an actual sequel.
The animation was absolutely phenomenal. Seeing the girls getting railed by a 40cm cock was stunning and studio white bear did an amazing job at portraying that. Their dicks are extremely detailed and basically everything about the animation is as close to perfection as a hentai could be.
The characters thankfully remained the same; I loved all of their quirky dick abilities and every single one of their penises feel extremely well developed with great background information. Therefore retaining those aspects that made this series so special for me was a huge plus. My favourite character is definitely Ai and I love the fact that see had more of a leading role in this sequel.
Not only that, but for me, this season offers some great character development, adds a lot of new elements and background information to the original story that make the Futabu! series all the more unique and story-rich in my eyes and also manages to be extremely entertaining on its own.
Anyway, I won't spoil anything, but that plot-twist near the end of the anime was as good as the ending of the original Futabu! (I would even say it's a contender for my top 10 favourite anime finales) and most of the new characters are pretty likeable. I especially loved Chie Togami, despite initially being a somewhat stereotypical MILF character, she has the character development and the necessary depth in her personality to stand out among the rest. Her chemistry with the rest of the cast and especially with Akane Niimura was beautiful and she felt like she was a part of the series from the very start.I genuinely don't get how some Futabu! fans absolutely despise this season/sequel/spin-oof/whatever-the-hell-this-is, most of the stuff that was added was background information and I feel like the sequel of Futabu did the absolute best job a spin-off could, to not to ruin the legacy that the 1st season built, while keeping its original premis. And not only that, I truly believe that this sequel made the original Futabu! even better. Despite the lower score, in terms of pure enjoyment, I almost liked it as much as the original Futabu!, albeit for totally different reasons.
I highly recommend this masterpiece and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. This is peak fiction and nothing I have seen up until now even comes close to being this good.
