  I love Chuunibyou. I love this movie.

  I have never wrote a review before so this a first.
  Also, ignore any info i get wrong and spelling or grammar mistakes. i mean, if so, give me some feedback

  __Intro__

  To start off, I was scrolling on the internet for some manga with Chuunibyou in it as i normally do. I saw this link that sent me to a translated version of the source material for this movie. It was just titled "AURA". The synopsis really grabbed my attention so i looked online if there was any place to read it and found the anime adaption. 3 days later, i finally got to watch it and wow.

  Story

  

  To quickly recap the movie, We are introduced to out two main characters, Ichirou Satou and Ryouko Satou (not family related). First glance we see Satou as a normal high school student doing high school things in which one night, he gets up from his bed to start his studying, he forgets his textbook in class. Satou runs to the school pitch black at night and sneaks in. As he is leaving after doing his business , he sees a figure of a female in a strange outfit. He quickly learns that this is a highschooler from his class called Ryouko, She's another case of Chuunibyou that's going around the school. Blah Blah Blah, Satou finds out she is called Ryouko and is coincidentally in his class. This is when trouble occurs. You see, in his classroom is a set of students who look highly up to the school rules. If you dont abide, you're fucked as they will come after you. In this case, Ryouko wears her strange outfit wherever she goes even in class... Blah Blah Blah, she gets bullied and Satou felt offended by the set of students and decides to be around her at all times as protection. The two quickly get along and the students were fed up and blackmails Satou by using his old classmates' info to find out his old past (when he had Chuunibyou). They told Satou, if you keep hanging around Ryouko anymore, we'll leak this info everywhere. As expected from a Chuunibyou themed show, Satou gave in. This meant Satou couldn't be around Ryouko anymore. Blah Blah Blah, Ryouko sad --> Satou sad. Satou learns later on that the only thing keeping Ryouko running is her delusions. some super totally realistic things later happen and the rooftop of the school is filled of desks sort of representing of a temple. Ryouko on the edge about to jump, Satou runs to her safety as the reborn version of his longed forgotten past form, "Light Fang, Chosen One of the Demon Dragons". He uses this as his trump card so Ryouko can rethink about jumping. Blah Blah Blah, It works, the end. (oh and they become a couple because why not.

  So what did we learn? His school is weird, Satou and Ryouko are weird and the plot is weird... But i love it. I love how the story really portrays a more dramatic look at Chuunibyou as a whole. Imagine Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Season 1 but 100 times more dramatic.

  9/10 (Shinako Kobato sucks) __Music__

  The Soundtrack... I swear every track that played got me distracted from the plot in the move and only to the music. It fits so well that my monke brain couldn't comprehend it and just focused on one thing at the time. I am a big fanatic on Piano and the composition was outstanding!

  9/10 (Didn't like the Closing that well.) __Animation__

  I'm not big on animation but i think it was well done. Some of the fighting scene's looked wonky but other than those, im fine. Out of my 250+ anime, i've never seen any other of their work.

  8.5/10 (Didn't enjoy and wasn't expecting the nudity.) __Outro__

  I'm shit at outro's. I was shit at writing outro's in school.
  Will i read the novel? Possibly when i run out of manga to read.

  An interesting movie, with a complex meaning

  First of all, I apologize about misunderstandings I may have made. This is my first review.

  Summary of what I barely understood
  
  So, AURA: Maryuuinkouga Saigo no Tatakai is an anime about Ichirou Satou and Ryouko Satou. Ichirou is an old fighter who has decided to let his past behind him and live a normal life but he met Ryouko , who is performing her mission.

  Ichirou wants to help her, and after convincing her, she accepts his help. However, he doesn’t really believe the story of Ryouko. He thinks it's all fake and she’s just trying to get attention. He continues to help her though, but at some point, she became victim of bullying due to her abnormality. Since their teacher told him to be friend with her or he would leak some information about his past which would ruin him, he defended her against her bullies. However, one of the old friends of Ichirou decided to share something about him to one of her bullies of Ryouko. She used that against Ichirou. Indeed, she would leak that and ruin him if he continues defending her, so he stopped that and also stopped going around with her.

  At some point, Ryouko was ready to achieve her mission, but it was actually jumping of and returning to “her world”. From what I think, it’s suicide. Hopefully, Ichirou came to save her, while explaining that this world isn't that bad. He showed her that there are some things to enjoy, which make her change her mind, and they finally got together.

  My thoughts
  
  I think this anime shows that everybody has differences, but it’s not a reason to give up. As Ichirou showed it, there’s always some interesting and enjoyable things to do. Indeed, both of them are not really “normal”, but they didn’t give up.

  In Ichirou’s case, he got bullied several years before, and was clearly acting and showing that he’s not like others. Even though he decided to stop and become normal, he still has his “abnormal” side of him. After all, he still seems to have the will to live his life.
  In Ryouko’s case, she was still acting “abnormally”. She’s was wearing unusual clothes and accessories, and was constantly using special terms to talk about what she’s doing in this world. However, at the end we can see her coming to class with her uniform, even though she was talking the same way to Ichirou.

  They’ll still have this “abnormal” side of them, but they probably won’t show it anymore so they can be "normal" and live their life normally.

  I really liked the relationship between them. It was unpredictable. Indeed, at some point they were not close, and Ichirou even hated her, but they end up together as said previously. It shows a strong love between them, and it’s a good thing to me.

  Globally, due to the complexity and doubt about my understanding of this anime, I can’t say that I love it, but it was very good and I recommend it.

  To finish with, on the artistic and structural side it was nice. the animation was good, and the osts and ending song spiced up my experience watching it. The story was not rushy at all, and well done.

  Why didn't I know this anime before??

  After seeing this wonderful film I decided to write my first review to express everything I felt, if you haven't seen it, don't read this as it contains Spoilers.

  

  I was browsing Instagram when I saw a video that told the story of a girl who was bullied at school, this was Ryouko Satou. I was interested and 2 days later I decided to watch it to draw my conclusions.

  Plot:
  The film tells the story of Ichirou Satou, a boy who lives his quiet life in high school until he meets a girl who calls herself a "Researcher" she reveals that she is in search of the "Dragon Connectors" it is then that Ichirou decides to help her in this search, it is then that Ryouko appears in her classroom (she was curiously the student who had not shown up in the first week of class and her name is Ryouko Satou.
  The teacher asks Ichirou to take care of Ryouko, as he doesn't accept he is enticed and if he doesn't accept his secrets will be revealed and then the Satou duo joins this adventure, the problems begin when Yumin questions Ryouko and other students for not following the standards wearing a school uniform, Yamamoto tries to use force to remove the inappropriate clothing of these students, Ryouko fights back and Ichirou goes to defend her and is beaten and this creates a lot of confusion because that is when the persecution against Ryouko will begin, Ichirou tries to protect him at any cost but he is bribed with his past, if he goes back to seeing Ryouko his embarrassing photos that he wants so much to hide will be revealed to everyone and so he obeys and now he can no longer help her, after Ryouko builds a temple of tables, reveals that to return to his world he has to throw himself from the top but Ichirou dresses like in the past "Light Fang, Chosen One of the Demon Dragons", he convinces Ryouko not to jump and in the end she leaves it aside his clothes, staff and whole story and they become a couple.

  Opinion:
  Incredible, fantastic, sensational, splendid, there are no words to summarize what I felt at the end of this anime, it managed to completely connect me to the story, at no point did I take my eyes off the screen because I was very curious to know how this plot would end, I felt different emotions while watching happiness, worry, fear, anguish, I was very sad when Ichirou had to stop helping Ryouko (she suffered so much, poor thing), but I'm glad everything worked out in the end, they are very cute together.

  Understanding:
  People try to control us like puppets telling us what we should do and how we should be without thinking about how it affects us, what does it mean to be "normal"? It is impossible to please everyone because everyone thinks differently, we want to be as "normal" as possible to be accepted but we leave aside our true "self" to satisfy everyone's desires

  Some doubts:
  How did she manage to imitate the teacher's voice when she called Ichirou??
  How did she build that temple on the school roof without anyone noticing and with an exorbitant number of chairs??
  I think it would be impossible for a normal person to do this
  I don't believe in the assumption that Ichirou committed suicide and lives in an idealized world

  Animation: 8.3
  It was relatively good with few slips in my opinion and that didn't bother me so

  Characters: 10
  I really liked all the characters, Satou Ryouko is another girl with short hair on my favorites list, Kobato Shinako is very kind and cute

  Soundtrack: 8.8
  For me it was good and fit well into the plot, I don't have much to say.

  Other than that, it was really good and it was really worth watching.
