DESCRIPTION
When tragedy struck Riki Naoe as a child, he was rescued from grief over his parent's deaths when four other kids "recruited" him for their group—the "Little Busters." Now in high school, Riki and the other Busters are still fast friends, and though their vision of being heroes for justice may have faded, they'd still do anything for each other. Which is why Riki is now on TWO special missions. The not so secret one: recruiting new members so the Busters can form a baseball team. Preferably FEMALE recruits, as the current dude/babe ratio is an inconvenient 4 to 1. The OTHER mission, though... That's the strange one. Because Riki and Rin, the group's singular girl, are receiving odd messages, delivered by cats, concerning the existence of a "secret world" and assigning them tasks they have to complete. Were their youthful dreams of being crusaders not so fanciful after all? Or is there something even more vital at stake? Between steeling his courage to talk to girls, dealing with his own narcolepsy and facing his feelings concerning Rin, Riki may just need the strength of a superhero to solve the ultimate mystery of the Little Busters!

This review not only designated to this series but to the other 2 seasons that come after. The Pros to 'Little Busters!'
- As you progress through the series, the characters starts to grow on you. Each time they reveal a secret from their past, you cant help but to think "I know how you feel" and "I understand".
- The background music is quite soothing.
- Teaches us that friendship is quite important.
- In 'Little Busters!' it not also teaches us that friendship is important, but also shows us that "everyone needs a friend".
Conclusion
Little Busters! Is one of those hidden gem anime that waits to be discovered. Although JC Staff was that anime production company in charge, I think they did quite well. Although it was quite disappointing that a dramatic scene from a 24 minute episode only to be resolved in 4 minutes. Compared to its big brothers 'Clannad', Little Busters is miles away. Negativity aside the anime displayed good comic relief, nice music and the multiple colorful characters. Overall, this anime was quite heartwarming and taught every viewer that friendship is the greatest medicine for a troubled heart.Want a good drama anime? Watch it
Do you have a ticket to the feels train? ALL ABOARD
Do you want a clear understanding of what is a friend, and what is not? Watch it by all means.

93/100A review of Little Busters! from someone who has played the original visual novel and enjoyed the anime.Continue on AniListThis is the adaption of Key's fantastic visual novel that came out in 2007. Full disclosure, I have played the Ecstacy version (the 18+ version). I really love the visual novel. From the music to the character development and that awesome baseball mini-game that exposed me to the awesomeness that is Dorj. But how does the anime hold up to my high expectations. Well, I found the anime quite enjoyable. It is one thing to see sprites on your screen make the ocassional reaction, but seeing characters move as you might expect was great. I believe many of the same voice actors from the game retained their roles in the anime-adaption so that was another plus. The animation was pretty good compared to the art from the visual novel (I've noticed this to be a bit of a trend with some vns being adapted, the most notable example being Higurashi). Many adaptions of visual novels have fallen flat, whether the animation is bad, they skip or try to address every single route within the visual novel, or it was just lackluster story-telling. I've experienced many of them, and feel let down as often it is that I've sen the anime and then played the source material. However, for the most part, I feel that the anime for Little Busters! does not suffer from that. Since the entire franchise was given a healthy 39-episode run (26 for the first season, 13 for the second season, which deals with the "true ending" of the visual novel, something I leave for readers to figure out). I had hoped for a longer s2, or perhaps, just a continuous series that adapted all or most of the visual novel. Alas, that did not happen. But I really enjoyed this walk down memory lane. And the bonus, and it is always a bonus when they do this, they kept or adapted most of the music from the original series (if only they could have found a way to adapt the title screen music from the visual novel, since it is so damn good). It is an enjoyable anime that treats the viewer to a great adaption of the visual novel. And I hope it inspires at least some of you to pursue the game, whether the all-ages version or the 18+ version (forewarning it is a bit of a slog to find that one). Key has a track record of putting out great vns, but this is the first adaption that I can say I have really enjoyed as an adaption. Angel Beats, another good anime by Key, received its visual novel some years after the anime finished airing. I would give this show a 9/10, and I have if you look at my anime list here. An overall enjoyable that serves as a mostly faithful adaption of its source material. I hope this review helps and you too can enjoy Little Busters! in both anime and visual novel form as much as I do.

80/100When your childhood dreams of being a hero of justice gets carried over to HighschoolContinue on AniListNote : contains spoilers, opinions on each episode is expressed than anime as a whole.
Little busters is a heartwarming and beautiful anime that focuses on many things. When I just started the anime and watched only few episodes I knew it would be 10/10 for sure. Little busters are a group of friends who “vanquished evil” walking around the neighbourhood when they were kids. Now in high school they may have lost the vision of being heros of justice but they are still fast friends and get through every hurdle place along the way together.
Little busters is a place where the friends truly belong. They found a place where they can have fun and be together. The little busters are made of Naoe Riki, Natsume Kyousuke, Inohara Masato, Miyazawa Kengo, Natsume Rin.
Kurugaya Yuiko, Noumi Kudryavka, Kamikita Komari and Nishizono Mio were later recruited. The character developments is so well expressed, I haven’t seen much of anime that expresses the character this well.
Naoe Riki is a boy who doesn’t have friends and was in a slump after his parents died, but when the little busters invited him to join them when they were kids, it lighted a spark in him and changed him for the better. He found a place where he belongs.
Another notable character I would like to mention is Kurugaya Yuiko. When she made her first appearance, I thought she was gloomy and dull, who didn’t have any friends. But when she joined the little busters, I was totally wrong. I got the wrong idea about her.
Next up is Komari.
In the early episodes (4,5) Komari-chan’s story had a huge impact. I don’t know about you’ll but it was obvious to me that her oni-chan died when she said she had dreams about him. She has forgotten the incident due to the trauma that left her. Her brother was alive in her dreams. She didn’t want to let go of him. The end of episode 5, Riki watching the meteor shower with Komari was heartwarming, i absolutely adore that scene. Riki was not just watching the shooting stars but also made sure that Komari didn’t feel lonely and left alone. He cares about her. He even took the effort to dig around and find Komari’s past and what happened. He was the caring type who would do anything for his friends. It’s was truly sad to watch Komari getting her memories back. She knew what happened to her brother. her personality changed and she is depressed the entire time. She didn’t laugh or smile anymore. She started seeing Riki as her oni-chan as a defence mechanism against the trauma.
Thanks to Riki, she found reality and escaped the chains of her brother. She became normal again and started laughing again.Let’s see who’s next
Ah it’s Nishizono Mio. I don’t really understand her character. She had an Imagiary friend/sister called Midori but when she forgot about her, she lost shadow???
Everything made sense till the part where Midori comes to real life and everyone’s memories of Mio are vanished. Like everything in this anime was relatable and was realistic but this part confuses me so much.
They could have said that Midori is a different personality of Mio and she takes over instead of portraying her as a different character. That would have made sense since split personality syndrome actually exists.
All Mio wanted was friends and place where she could be happy. She is just like Riki of the past. She has always been quiet and even called shadowless. She didn’t have any friends to talk to. I guess it’s fine now since everything worked out in the end. She found herself upon the ranks of the Little BustersEpisode 15 was the best episode in this anime.
Cross dressing Riki was a blessing to my eyesComing back who’s the next character
Ahhhhh Saegusa arc
Yeah both the trouble maker and the disciplinary committee leader were trash. Like bruh child abuse go call the cops. Does being a child of a criminal such a big deal, he wasn’t even a criminal. I don’t really get it.
After this I basically paused the anime and marked it as completed so yeah….
Too lazy to write a conclusion.
Thanks for sticking around and reading this no-good trash review, cya.
