  who writes reviews for hentai? but Ichihaya is worth it

  Something that I admire about Ichihaya's works is that, unlike most hentai out there, even though it's clearly for the little sister and big brother kink, even so. It always has this strange sense of dread. You gotta wait for the other shoe to fall. And it's not going to be the fact that they are siblings (there's a few lighter like the pedophile teacher and the like, but even so).

  Their names don't truly matter (but they kind of do if you recognize a little sister's friend's name in another work, because they are generally in the same universe. That means if this one is about it ending, the rest is before or during the end and even after if there were survivors), there's a little sister and a big brother. In this one, she reciprocates (Mesmerism and Turned Me Down's little sisters don't, and that's not even the other dropped shoe yet).

  The hentai gets stained with this sense of dread I mentioned earlier. They gotta enjoy this, because they will never get to do it again. Or anything else. They drop everything they have duties for, in order to die without regrets (in a translation I read, the brother says he wanted to say he loves his little sister in a sexual way, because the end of the world is coming and just saying I love you to her would be easily misunderstood as platonic (if she turned him down and got creeped out he would die soon anyway). And he had no real time anyway. But also it's just funny to think of a brother platonically loving his sister and coming to tell her he loves her when the world is ending when he could do nearly anything else. It's funny, but that makes it deeper too I guess. anyway).

  The little sister pondering about how she wished they didn't take so long. That she wishes they could have had sex earlier, that they could have gone on dates. It's wistful like the most positive works of Ichihaya are. It's sad as fuck. They go out with a bang, and you don't even get to see the end properly. The count is going down, and it fades to gray without a huge space to ponder. It just ends. It's the end. The cover also makes me see the black and white pages in a sunset feeling (Sayonara wo Oshiete visual novel style), it's a strange feeling that led me to write a review for a hentai work, because damn. Wholesome, unporn works don't manage to hit it without going too tragic and dramatic. The words are light and they keep it tinged with regret and YOLO in a mix that I can only find easily on Ichihaya's works.

  The way it goes "okay, they are siblings and they fuck. Now that that's out of the way, let's go to actual plot" is typical Ichihaya (there's non-incest works too, and they are great, you should just check out every single one you are able to read). The plots are simple, but they grow life. Ichihaya really likes flat to small boobs though, if that's a kink or not to ya, the dicks are fine but the balls are always similar (and not the best I've seen in hentai).

  Ichihaya's best however is at how to end the hentai. Most hentai ends with a naked picture of the fucked girl, or with her promising more. Ichihaya's... it end with shoes dropping, taking some pages sometimes and not just ending abruptly on the last three. This one, as I said before, ends almost quietly, the clock ticks down to midnight, and fades to grey. You expect that from the start sometimes, but you don't expect it to be so easy, and that's what makes the experience so hard and so addictive too. Some works, I've seen readers complain that their dicks got soft (skill issue) because it was their first Ichihaya work, or the first that ended with a kick on the gut (like Alien and Mesmerism). This one won't get soft dicks, probably, but it ends wistful, a little regretful of wasted time.

  Something I was reading on Kidnapper from the afterwords, Ichihaya says "this is a porn work. that's why, it's fine to have a happy ending". It is porn, but it's almost gentle. It will break your heart with its gentleness, its truth. As I did, I hope you can enjoy the feeling.
