Your typical "reincarnated as a noble baby" story, but as a gag comedy!
Amidst the "girl reincarnated into a novel/otomegame" sub-genre, it is not unusual to find the protagonist starts again as a baby or child, but few actually focus on the events of their childhood. The few that does, are usually played more straightforwardly as a romance or drama, with 80% of their time centered around the protagonist worrying about their impending future or love interest. Hence why this Manhwa, that barely spend anytime on such things, is low-key refreshing because

The Matchmaking Baby Princess is practically a gag comedy.

Eril, or officially Princess Amelia Illuminas, was a 30 year old corporate slave who right before she died, read a funky novel and gets reincarnated into it as a character who will die soon (as expected). One day as a baby being taken care of by her poor aunt Lucinda (the novel's protagonist), she decided that she had enough of eating oatmeals everyday and sent her familar Ppuppu to the imperial palace, to inform them of her whereabouts so she and her aunt can live a nice life in the palace earlier than expected, preventing her death in the process (other protagonist should take notes, it really is that easy). What ensued after is a series of hijinks of her daily life in the palace with her caring but reserved aunt, her new one and only blood-relative scary uncle Emperor Tessa, the maids and guards, and most importantly her personal knight Alexander, who is part of a strong family that his uncle Tessa hates.

Eril and Alexander are a double act comedy duo, with Eril as the funny baby who is crude + obviously doesn't act her age and Alexander as the straightman who reacts to her un-childlike actions while sometimes being the butt of the joke himself. They have great dynamic with each other, and later on even have a heartwarming relationship where they care for each other deeply (no, not in the creepy way).

Of course the story isn't just about these two's shenanigans; Eril unknowingly helps and charm some people with the power of an adorable one/six years old, make mistakes here and there, and as the title suggests tries to make everyone she cares for happy, starting with finding partners for her aunt and uncle.

In summation, this Manhwa is mostly composed of mild gag comedy and wholesome family life affairs, and way way later on a pinch of romance. If you like this kind of setting and premise and is in the mood for some laughs, I would strongly recommend this one.

My ratings might seem weird at a glance, but basically 4 is [Below average] and 6 is [fine]. I also don't associate scores with how much I like something since at the end of the day it's all subjective.

Character: 7 [While not exactly deep, I'd be hardpressed to call them one dimensional]
