Lots of gore and violence. Good comedy. Over the top. Fantasy and magic.Continue on AniListWhile the title and the premise seem to be played for laughs the series has very gorey and violent fights. However its a pretty unique idea and the comedy lands well. If you like fantasy and violence this series will be a good fit for you. The isekai in the title comes from the fact that the titular shark is summoned from another world, not the MC herself which is a nice change of pace. The art is also really good as well which is a plus. Sadly theres not all that many chapters in english yet but this is definitely a series to keep an eye on. Theres very few like it and it manages to have pretty engaging characters. The main plot is a bit cliche and generic (girl sets out to fight against a demon lord). But the execution is unique and admirable. Also the shark is actually really cute despite having very little personality. While it might not be bereserk level gore, the violence is still on the high end, somewhere around claymore and hellsing so it may not be appealing to everyone. However if you can get over it you will find a charming series about sharks, and violence, and a very naive girl who wants to be a good person but has accidentally summoned an OP murder shark that can do everything from any shark movie ever. Also yes one of those movies is sharknado and yes it does exactly what you think it does. Also shark cerberus. And it grows tentacles at one point too its exactly as over the top as it sounds. There aren't too much in the way of a supporting cast however she does pick up another companion at one point and shes a very welcome addition to the group. Also the demon lord's forces have freiza blasters and about average aim for a storm trooper. I give it about a 7/10 for entertainment, if you're looking for something serious look elsewhere but if you're here to have a good time I highly recommend this series. The translation is kinda bad but also I can't read japanese well so I'm not gonna bash it and I hope they do more of it in the future. As always support the official release if you can this is one of those turn your brain off and enjoy series that isn't just another isekai or shounen. The story follows a young girl whos optimistic in becoming a strong summoner in a world devastated by the invasion of the demon lord. She shows signs of being able to use magic so she leaves her small village to enroll in magic academy. However when she gets there shes bullied relentlessly. Trying to remain pure and optimistic she attempts to shrug off her abuse however one day she witnesses a shark movie marathon and wishes she could have a powerful familiar like the shark. During the next summoning she summons a very small and innocent looking shark however when that shark smells normies it transforms into every shark from every shark movie ever made. Banished from summoning school this poor girl roams around trying to make friends and stop her familiars murder spree.
