  A great modern romance series

  Too many romance series end right when the couple gets together. This manga, shows the life of being a couple and it is incredibly wholesome. Just as the title of the manga suggest, the main couple are completely opposites in terms of personality. Suzuki Miyu is a high energy, extroverted person who falls in love with the very quiet, introverted Tani Yuusuke.

  The manga explores how both these characters deal with being a couple as they are both very new to all of it. While the series is mostly a fun slice of life, it does have some drama in some of the issues and tribulations of being a teenage couple. However, the drama feels very grounded and never over the top.

  There are some supporting character relationships that are also very sweet that is explored in the series as well. The other supporting characters have different issues they face which are also very interesting to read.

  The character development is executed in a well-mannered way. For example, there is a character who is incredibly critical of others but slowly grows throughout the series and realises his own flaws. He ended up being one of the biggest characters I was rooting for in the whole series!

  The manga has great pacing and it doesn't ever feel like it is dragging or overstaying its welcome. With a decent 65 chapters, the series does a good job of juggling all the characters and their respective issues they face. A fair amount of the things characters deal with are quite relatable. The only problem was that I wish the ending concluded more of the things for the supporting characters as well rather than just the main couple .

  The art style is very clean with how simple it all looks but I believe that gives the series a lot of charm. The character designs are easy to look at and are all the drawn in a way that illustrates the personality of the characters. The simple design also allows for really fun creative panels that really benefit the comedy.

  On that note, the comedy is very well done. They are not laugh out loud funny but there are definitely a fair amount of moments in the series that will give you a chuckle.

  Nevertheless, it is definitely one of the better modern romance manga and I am glad it is getting an anime adaptation in 2026!

  Story 6/10 - While the story does do something different by exploring an actual couple relationship, for the most part it is just a fun slice of life with little drama

  Art style 7/10 - I like how different it is from the norm. It is going to blow you away with gorgeous panels but it does the job of making it easy for the audience to read

  Characters 8/10 - I absolutely love the main couple, they are incredibly wholesome duo. They are backed up by a loveable supporting cast.

  Overall 7/10 - A satisfying modern romcom
