82/100Review of 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru 2nd SeasonContinue on AniList
So 100-man second season has officialy finish, i really appreciate this second season and in this review, that contain spoiler about this season so be careful to not read this review if you haven't watch this season. (Forgive me about my English, it's a little rusty)
So first step: what is 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru season 2?:
Aloof and logical middle school third-year Yuusuke Yotsuya is transported to a game-like alternate world. He becomes a third player and takes on a dangerous quest with his classmates Iu Shindo and Kusue Hakozaki, who were transported there earlier. The cold Yuusuke eschews emotionalism and examines all elements with detachment, sometimes even toying with the lives of his companions. Can he protect his party from attacking monsters, difficult incidents, and powerful scheming enemies and win the game?
About the Second season:
I really appreciated the plot twist about every mission of our Heroes, thath every mission has a Time Skip about 15 years and i appreciate the Kahabell return and THE BEST SCENE in this Season, the waited Kiss About Yuusuke and Kahabell, and the other 3 arc, the Jiffon Arc and the Last Arc: The Zagroth Arc.
About the music
Opening: BADDEST 8/10
Ending: Subversive 7/10
Charachter Development
The CD of Yuusuke it's really nice expecially the gore part that i really appreciated, i will continue the manga because i'm intrested for the plot.
About Iu Shindou nothing important, just a little bit of extra romance between Yuusuke, but for the rest, nothing else.
About the Two new heroes: Keita Torii the classic dumbass hero, but for the other hero Glenda Carter performed by the voice of Saori Hayami she is intresting and most important, she like woman....yes.
For the other Heroes nothing to say.
Final impressions
My Expectations for I'm Standing on a Million Lives Season 2 has worth it, waiting for this season, too see the Adventure of our Heros has worth it, and beside of the first season, they give us important information about the final boss: The dragon and information about the parallel world and the real world.
So if you want to try this anime give it a shot.CynicalOptimist
52/100"Well, what a shit show that was. Imagine not continuing the 2nd season at all."Continue on AniListWell, firstly, let's start it over with a "cheerful" song, shall we? Well, yep. This one:
Well, just kidding. I actually almost have no mood to continue but since it's a review, I'll just tell my points here and right now. Alright so, the 2nd season of [Insert the least memorable anime show name you've ever heard or read here] or also known as 100-man Inochi - well, what an edgy but pretty long name for a show that was. As I eventually could barely remember the name that is as long as I'm Standing on a Million Lives in Japanese which is Hyaku-man Inochi no Uei Ore Wa Tatte Iru, oh wait, I just did. - was expected to be a something [NEW] or just fantastic, if anything. But clearly, everyone, including the others who did have a big expectation on this show, was totally wrong - It really isn't or even worse, depends, if you ask me - due to "How many character are there?" kind of questions in which have been plaguing a sort of anime shows with good characters but with the development in which is mediocre and or average at best. Well, see... a lot of new characters but also means more and more character development on this phase and without it, the character will, of course, be bland if anything.
Alright so next, let's get to the story
Season 2 tells about the adventure of Yotsuya and his "friends" - trust me, he technically still doesn't have any, at least, until now - to do or maybe, to be exact, play a mission with the Game Master. WIth a new guy with a yellow hair that looks like Naruto who was being saved by Yotsuya, it means they've got a new player in their team, so yeah, I think that's it. The 1st quest was about the Jiffoon Buffoon, or I don't even know what it actually means but once they got there, a lot of goblins were waiting for them to be killed or kill by their own hands. However, it doesn't seem to be as easy as flipping your hands, of course. There has to be a lot of works to get there. And that's how the story unfolds...
So, before I joint the character + story aspects on this show, I'd like to tell the points that we have here. I kind of imagined that the author probably went like, "Oh, we have some girl characters, why don't we add a guy that sounds silly to attract them?", honestly, this is not the way how it works. I somewhat said it's totally fruitless to add a new element of the show without considering whether it's worth it or not. I mean sure, this guy has proven to be a significant change, not only because increasing the overall strength against some worthy opponents but also his character as well. I mean, hey, don't force the story to be developed in just one episode, that sounds too deliberating and might sound appalling to others. Alright, next, the character developments. The MC was being... yeah, you know, an edgy student that hates his city but ironically will save the city from the destruction. But at least, he started to understand the meaning of life or sought for it in any missions he has gone through and achieved and that's a solid point here, including the character awareness over the fact that the hatred over a place where you were born will not change the truth that you have to protect it, no matter at what costs, and this is probably how he understands that... not every person is selfish. Next, we have some
galsgirls here, Iu seems to be the way she is, ambitious and smart, while I kind of am not sure about the others, not that involved except that girl with glasses that I don't even care to know who her name is, as she tried to save the members thanks for her heroic moves but without Fathima, I don't think they'd make it, maybe some to point out are the new characters or "players" of this show. I have talked about that guy but next, it is Glenda, who was interested after witnessing some facts about this "game". This character seems to be "invisible", or it's just me who didn't realize she was there all along but she happened to be a new or fresh substance of this already shitty elemental foundation of this show. She, occasionally, was playing a lot of crucial roles, including when she concluded for the whether if Yotsuya could be wrong about his decision or not and many else or when she noticed that there is something wrong about Jezby too.Overall, the story isn't that appalling, probably lacking some developments but I definitely would expect for nothing in the next season. I mean, I never expect anything from this show, it's been hopeless from the start. Too many deaths, that seemed or meant to be dramatic, happened on this show but I didn't feel any attachment to those, especially when that knight with a toothpaste branding or warm kind of smile died due to fighting with the goblin and that's basically "it", they died anyway so no hard feelings, including that guy who hates his place where he was born, in which Yosuke reminds of himself, died for protecting his city thus becoming a hero, well, that was heroic, but being one doesn't mean you can't die anyway. And at last, I probably will recommend but anyone to watch this or rather that I should say to not watch it unless you look for an average show with a sort of lacking thereof in the developments, both story and character, here and there but with a decent world-building or you have watched the Season 1 and already saw that actually was coming for this show, and I don't mind to suggest people in watching this or not, I don't care, just do what you want, but there is some actiosn here so you probably would like to if you still are looking for some realistic moves and strategies, despite they aren't that good even. Alright, I believe that's all already enough. Thank you and see ya since this review is finished, I don't care and I'll just leave it here:
