DESCRIPTION
Jiwoo is a kind-hearted young man who harnesses the lightning quick reflexes of a cat to secretly make the world a better place – one saved little child or foster pet at a time. Kayden is a secret agent on the run, who finds himself stuck in the body of a…um…decidedly fat old fluffy cat. Together, armed with Jiwoo’s super powers and Kayden’s uber-smarts, they’re out to fight those forces who would let evil rule this world. That is, if they can stand each other long enough to get the job done.

95/100An overall great read filled with action and comedyContinue on AniListEleceed is a great read.
I've put Eleceed on my favorites list. I've got a few reasons for this. Spoilers included.Eleceed is a story written by Son Jae-Ho and illustrated by Zhena published on Webtoon. I somehow stumbled across this manhwa while I was searching for a manhwa with an OP MC. My first impression of this wasn't great. I was used to art styles similar to Solo Leveling or Second Life Ranker. The cover was so different so I kept putting off reading this until I got bored and read this. The artstyle was not what I expected when I read this, it wasn't bad.
Plot: The main character Jiwoo Seo from childhood realizes he was different from others. Having moved around often to avoid being caught, he didn't grow up with many friends but he was always around cats. One day Jiwoo finds an injured cat who happens to have the ability to speak. This cat explains that his name is Kayden Break, a strong person with super powers infamous for challenging others. Kayden becomes stuck in the body of a fat cat and decides to stay with Jiwoo until he returns back to normal.
Characters: The characters in here all have their own personalities, some egos are bigger than others. Jiwoo, a kind hearted and determind person attracts other people to him. He meets other people with super powers and often times they start as enemies and later becomes friends.
More into the friendships Jiwoo makes. Later in the story he gains a friend circle formed of Jiwoo, Wooin, Jisuk, and Subin. They all sort of started as enemies and became close friends. They go through deadly situations together. My favorite character in this manhwa would be Kayden. He's pretty funny as a cat but when he becomes a human, something interesting always happens. It's usually really exciting. (Yes, I'm promoting Kayden's character but what can I say? He's not my favorite for no reason.)
My Thoughts On The Writing: This story was great for my personal enjoyment, this story gave me chills from exciting scenes and had me laughing at the comedy. Every chapter had me hooked or laughing, I was happy there were so many chapters, I binged this really hard. But if I really think about this story, putting my personal enjoyment aside. This story is really about a boy that rapidly grows stronger and turns enemies into friends. A little cliche if you ask me. This manhwa certaintly did have me hooked but reading this for a while, it was often the same things happening just that the achievements Jiwoo gained were getting bigger and bigger. But after seeing Jiwoo beating so many strong enemies I feel that the actual characters that are meant to be the strongest in the world are not so strong. Especially after Jiwoo beat great figures, it really had me thinking about how strong the strongest was. Jiwoo was almost like a perfectly talented character with a great personality again, really cliche. After catching up with the manhwa, the story felt slow (perfectly normal) I waited for the new chapters, I was always excited for the new chapters but after the recents chapters I've read (Around chapter 200) I felt a little disappointed. If Jiwoo and his friends actually beat everyone, I would obviously feel impressed but not surprised.
Recommendation: Despite my critisizing, the story is overall good and pretty funny. I do not think badly of this manhwa, I really like it. The last paragraph was just me thinking really deeply. I would really recommend this to people who enjoy overpowered main characters, or perfect characters and a lot of comedy.___
Overall: Eleceed is currently on my favorites list and will most likely stay there. I would rate Eleceed a 95.

100/100Eleceed is a fun, action-packed manhwa with heart, humor, unique art, and lovable characters. A true feel-good ride!Continue on AniListReview: Eleceed
Plot and Atmosphere:
Eleceed is a fast-paced, heartwarming, and often hilarious manhwa that follows the story of a kind-hearted boy with a special ability and a legendary fighter trapped in the body of a cat. Together, they form an unusual but powerful duo, fighting against injustice, dark organizations, and their own pasts. At its core, this is a story about growth—inner strength, friendship, and finding your place in a world full of danger and power struggles. for the people who like overpowerd mc's, this manwha has your back. for the people who like their mc's to stay down to earth, humbel en keep working super hard to get to the top... thismanwha has your back! the mc grows quickly but runs into walls he needs to surpass, sometimes alone and sometimes with his friends... it's great! the storyline overall is not too complicated or layerd but has still some depth to it...Character Development:
What truly sets Eleceed apart is its cast of characters. Every character is unique, relatable, and develops naturally over time. The main characters feel alive and their bond is a joy to witness. There’s a perfect balance between intense battles and light-hearted, wholesome moments. Even the side characters are well-written and memorable, with each of them having their own role and personality. No one feels like filler.Humor and Emotion:
This manhwa knows how to balance tone. It can be serious when needed, but also delivers consistent humor—especially through the interactions between the cat and the main character, as well as with other students and rivals. At the same time, there are touching emotional moments, particularly when characters confront their trauma, insecurities, or begin to grow beyond their limits.Art Style:
The art is clean, dynamic, and steadily improves throughout the story. It captures both the intensity of action and the charm of quiet or funny moments with ease. On top of that, the art style is also unique and aesthetic—distinctive in its color choices, expressions, and character designs. The visuals bring the story to life and set Eleceed apart from many other titles in the genre.Personal Impact:
For me, Eleceed is one of those series that keeps you hooked with a smile on your face. It’s addictive, uplifting, and yet grounded enough to leave an impact. I binge-read it almost in one go and now eagerly wait for new chapters. It’s the kind of story that feels like comfort food—with a strong emotional punch and plenty of adrenaline. Conclusion:
If you enjoy action, lovable characters, genuine friendships, humor, and—yes—cats, Eleceed is a must-read. i'm re-reading it for the... i don't even remember how much i've reread it... but a lot! honestly ma favorit manwha ever at this moment! It delivers everything: laughs, thrills, emotions, and great storytelling. A 10/10 feel-good manhwa that still knows how to hit hard when it counts.
